Arthington Cricket Club – Yorkshire Premier League North (Championship West)

Arthington CC is a fast-rising, ambitious cricket club with a fantastic new pavilion and one of the most beautiful grounds in Yorkshire. After winning promotion from the Nidderdale League, our 1st XI is currently competing strongly in YPLN Championship West (4th place as of August 2026)
and is determined to push for promotion to ECB Premier Division 2 in 2028 and Premier
Division 1 in 2029.

We are looking for an experienced, and motivated Coach to undertake the following roles:

The Role

• Lead all aspects of 1st XI training, match preparation, and on-field performance.
• Develop individual players and build a strong, winning team culture.
• Work closely with the Captain, Chairman and President to drive promotion in 2027 and 2028
• Lead all training and preparation for the 2nd team.
• Develop from nothing a women’s team – including attracting the players, with the help ofthe committee. 2027 – 1 team, 2028 – 2 teams.
• Develop from nothing – boys and girls teams – 2027 – 2 teams, 2028 – 4 and 2029 – morethan 6 – including attracting players with the help of the committee.

What We’re Looking For

• ECB Level 2 (Core Coach) minimum — Level 3 (Advanced Coach) strongly preferred.
• Proven coaching experience at ECB Premier League or strong County League level.
• A coach who is ambitious, passionate, and wants to be part of something special.
• Excellent player management and communication skills.
• Commitment to developing a positive, hard-working team environment.

Valid DBS and Safeguarding certificate (or willingness to obtain).
